Black Crown Sons of Anarchy Robusto Cigar Review

Tonight I will be reviewing the Sons of Anarchy by Black Crown Robusto – an interesting blend inspired by the Sons of Anarchy TV series, now in its sixth and final season. The show’s producers teamed up with Black Crown to create a cigar as brooding and ballsy as its namesake. Will this bad-ass cigar make the bad-ass bikers proud?

First off, this is no gimmick cigar. Made in Honduras, it features an Ecuadoran Sumatra wrapper, Nicaraguan Criollo ’98 binder and Nicaraguan filler – quite a blend.

This is a medium to full bodied cigar. Cold draw gives some light pepper and spice notes. Once lit, the first few puffs offers white pepper spicyness, which soon gives way to full flavours of old leather, sweet (almost fruity) wood, creamy coffee and dark chocolate. Hearty tobacco through-out. The draw was excellant. Smooth, with enough flavour to keep it interesting without being overpowering.
